If your home has been feeling a bit mundane or drab lately, you don’t need to give it a complete overhaul. Sometimes, the smallest changes can make it feel like a completely new space. An area rug is a prime example, effortlessly perking up your home and tying everything together by accenting your barren floor and anchoring your furniture. Blending form and function, it also protects your floors from scratches, scuffs, and stains, and offers a cozy place for you to rest your feet.
As a main focal point, the rug sets the aesthetic for a room. If you’re a fan of all things cottagecore, this Moynesa Floral Scalloped Area Rug at Walmart is a fabulous choice that’ll transform your room into a romantic and cozy haven. Right now, you can score this area rug on sale for a limited time with a flash deal. Normally retailing for $41, the 3-foot-by-5-foot rug is now marked down to $25 in dark green. You can also get the 3-foot-by-5-foot rug in beige, coffee, green, and navy blue hues for $33, which is still a great deal.

Adorned with a vibrant nature-inspired pattern, this area rug will instantly brighten up your space with a pop of color. The design is filled with all kinds of flowers and leaves, oozing with cottagecore charm that gets more whimsical with the addition of scalloped edges.
Placed anywhere in your home, this rug will make your space feel like a storybook cottage. You can put it next to your bed to give your bare feet a snug place to step on as you get up in the mornings, or in the center of your living room to tie all your furniture together. Alternatively, you can place it under your dining table or anywhere else that could use a cozy and homey touch.
Made of 100% faux wool, this rug is plush and soft to the touch, according to shoppers. While plush, it has a low-pile profile that’s less than 0.3 inches thick, so you should be able to place it near doorways without it getting in the way. Thanks to the sleek profile, you can also position furniture pieces along the edges of the rug without them wobbling.

Made of thermoplastic elastomer, the rug’s backing is non-slip and ensures that it stays in place as people walk on top of it. The short strands make it difficult for the rug to collect dirt, dust, debris, and hair, making it a low-maintenance option. Whenever you want to give it a quick refresh, just go over it with a vacuum. If you need to give it a deeper clean, you can toss it into the washing machine.
It’s no surprise that this area rug has racked up over 1,600 five-star ratings at Walmart. Shoppers loved everything about it, from its quality and durability to its style and texture. “It’s perfect for high-traffic areas and it’s so pretty,” one reviewer raved. A second shopper described it as “absolutely stunning and silky soft,” and added that the colors are “beautiful and bold.” A third person commented that it’s “whimsical and fun” with a “garden” feel.
You can snag this rug in several other sizes as well, with availability varying depending on style. It comes in a 2-foot-by-3-foot accent rug, four runners ranging between 2 feet by 5 feet and 2.5 feet to 10 feet, four round rugs ranging from 3 feet to 6 feet, and five larger area rugs ranging between 4 feet by 6 feet and 9 feet by 12 feet.
