About Waterford's Lismore Pattern:

Lismore is Waterford's most famous pattern and is admired for graceful form that defines tradition even as it transcends it. Lismore has wooed and won three generations of collectors. Ireland's spectacular Lismore Castle, once the home of Sir Walter Raleigh, provided the inspiration 50 years ago for designer Mirek Havel. Havel was a Czech immigrant who started with Waterford in 1947 and went on to become its Chief Designer. The Lismore spark led to a creative outpouring that continues to this day, with fresh shapes, styles, and interpretations emerging not only in Waterford crystal, but Waterford fine China, flatware, lighting, silver, and linens. Lismore's honored place in America now extends to every place in the home.

Care Instructions:

Fine crystal should be hand washed separately in warm soapy water, rinsed thoroughly and dried with a lint-free cloth. We do not recommend using a dishwasher to clean your crystal as it can dull and damage the surface. Avoid pouring iced liquids or very hot water into crystal as extreme temperatures can crack or break your crystal. The finely made rims are the most fragile part of your crystal. Do not turn upside down while drying or storing.
