The Organic Skin Co. story starts 160 years ago on a doorstep in the town of Preston, England. There, Gertrude Anderton dispensed herbs and remedies, little knowing that she was establishing a legacy that would stretch across five generations and around the world.Founded 10 years ago in New Zealand, by former fashion designer, model, and now naturopath, Megan Douglas, The Organic Skin Co. is the sum part of:• Her family's heritage, spanning 5 generations (all the way back to that doorstep in Preston), and steeped in wellbeing and herbal lore; Her own, deeply held love for plant-based health and beauty (passed on to her by her grandmother, Jenny); Her desire to help both her customer and her daughter Ruby, who was becoming more and more interested in skincare and makeup. NOTE: currently, there are 12 different products in The Organic Skin Co. line, including a fullsuite of skincare products and 2 hybrid makeup/skincare products - 'Primp N' Prime' and 'The Only Glow'.
