The Silver Capped Bust Dime was minted in Philadelphia from 1809 to 1837. The obverse design featured a profile bust of Lady Liberty wearing a cap, known as the Freedom Cap, a symbol used in the Revolutionary War. Inscribed on the headband of the cap is the word Liberty. The reverse displays the Eagle with a shield at its breast holding arrows and an olive branch. The Silver Capped Bust Dime is secured in a gold portfolio. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
