It features a quill, parchment and the words "We the People" on the obverse and a cross-section of American people on the reverse. It was designed by Patricia Lewis Verani. The 1987S U.S. Constitution Bicentennial Commemorative Silver Dollar was issued to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the United States Constitution. The coin is graded PR67 by AACGS.
