The single-speaker radio offers 23 programmable county codes, AM/FM tuning, date, time and alarm functions. Not only that, but it automatically switches from AM/FM stations to pertinent all-hazard alerts, so you won't miss a thing. For tuning, the radio employs drift-free PLL (phase-lock loop) technology and an easy-to-read, blue, backlit LCD screen.

The device boasts a convenient 10-alert memory - you can add, edit and remove unwanted alerts at any time. The radio's S.A.M.E. Digital Weather and Hazard Alert feature provides you with constant monitoring of your local NWS broadcast, and informs you of activity that is happening in your state, county and/or nearby counties. The device may be used with four AA batteries (not included) or the included AC power adapter.
