The Cassini 720mmX80mm Astronomical & Terrestrial Refractor Telescope is mounted on Cassini's Super Glide Altitude Azimuth mount, which features slow motion controls in both axis for precision adjustments. Terrestrial viewing is extremely easy, due to the included erect image prism that produces a totally erect image. The mount is attached to a sturdy and fully-adjustable metal tripod with retractable rubber feet. The tripod also features an accessory tray with slots to place your eyepieces and lenses.

The optical tube assembly attaches to the mount by an adjustable tube clamp which - in combination with the adjustable counter balance weight - ensures fluid movement of the telescope at all times. No fumbling with eyepieces and lenses; just flip a knob to instantly double the power of your telescope. Turn the knob again to turn the barlow off and view at normal focal length. The telescope's optical tube assembly is finished out with a large metal helical focus tube.
