The silver-tone choice features one leaf carved 12 x 10mm blue cloud stone, four round brilliant cut 5-7mm light blue stones, six round cabochon 3mm purple stones, two round cabochon 4mm light purple stones, two round cabochon 5mm light blue stones, two round cabochon 5mm pink stones and eight round brilliant cut 1mm light gray crystals.
The gold-tone choice features one leaf carved 12 x 10mm purple stone, four round cabochon 1-4mm green stones, six round cabochon 3mm dark gray stones, two round cabochon 5mm red stones, two round cabochon 7mm blue stones, eight round 1mm light gray crystals and two round cabochon 7mm black stones.
Unlesses otherwise noted all stones are made of glass and are in bezel settings.
The necklace measures 17"L x 2-1/2"W with multi cable and beaded strands. It comes with a 4-1/2" extender as well as a 1/2" lobster clasp.

Inspiration for the Tang Butterfly pieces comes from the 1920s and 30s. Fashion, decorating, hairstyles and makeup all reflected a fascination for everything 'oriental.' Silks, enamels and lacquer finishes created a design and fashion trend termed 'chinoiserie.' Tang dynasty jewelry, from approx 600 to 900 CE, used granulation combined with semiprecious gemstones and colored glass stones. Birds, flowers and particularly butterflies were favorite themes and were revived in 20th century fashion jewelry. This burnished silver version is set with hand made glass stones including.
