Love the Shimmering Movement of these Morganite Earrings!

Peach, pink or lavender, morganites of any color have a rich beauty that is oh-so feminine and flattering. Nothing says glamour more than a pair of morganite drop earrings with a coordinating bracelet that is accented with diamonds. Even pick up a ring with zircon accents for additional dazzle. Our collection here offers you some pretty great choices. Check it out!

Here’s what we already know about this luscious and alluring gemstone. It belongs to the beryl family and contains traces of manganese in its crystal formation that actually give it that famous pastel color. This beautiful gemstone was first mined in Madagascar in 1911 and named after gem enthusiast John Pierpont Morgan. A bit of a tidbit about Mr. Morgan – he was supposed to be on the fatal Titanic voyage but missed it! Talk about luck!

The largest morganite ever to have been mined is a whopping 598.70ct cushion-shaped one in Madagascar. This gemstone is now mined in Russia, Namibia, Afghanistan and a few other parts of the world. It ranks 7.5 - 8.0 on the Mohs scale and is quite rare, so it is a relatively expensive gemstone. How would you wear your morganite jewelry, you ask? It can go with just about anything, but it looks the best in the evening with chandelier lights giving it additional shimmer and dazzle. Allow its color to pop with a dressy ensemble, all white or all black. Your outfit choice is only limited to your imagination!
