A more concentrated version of the original L'Homme fragrance, L'Homme Intense by Prada has distinctly masculine scent. Top notes of neroli, black pepper, cardamom and carrot seeds mingle nicely with middle notes of iris, violet, geranium and mate. Base notes of amber, cedar, patchouli and sandalwood finish off the fragrance that was designed to express the many facets behind the Prada man.

The concentration of aromatic compounds determines the fragrance type. Most fragrances are mixed with alcohol or water to dilute them, as pure perfume could be overpowering.
