Invictus is a woody aquatic fragrance for men that was launched in July 2013. Its name is Latin for “invincible.” This eau de toilette was created by Veronique Nyberg, Anne Flipo, Olivier Polge, and Dominique Ropion. It opens with the aroma of fresh grapefruit and a marine accord. Its middle notes feature aromatic bay leaf and Hedione jasmine. Its woody base consists of guaiac wood, patchouli, oak moss, and ambergris . This fragrance has moderately heavy sillage and is long lasting.

Fragrance Types:
The concentration of aromatic compounds determines the fragrance type. Most fragrances are mixed with alcohol or water to dilute them, as pure perfume could be overpowering. Another option is eau de cologne, which usually contains under 5% aromatic compounds.
