Part of the Dickens' Village Series from Department 56. Victorian England, where many traditions we celebrate today took shape. Inspired by the restaurant at Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge. Hand-crafted & hand-painted porcelain lit building.

Porcelain buildings representing England at the time of Charles Dickens. Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol has been inspiring selflessness at the holidays since its first publication in 1843. The life and times of this great author and his legendary literary works have served as the inspiration for the Dickens' Village series since its debut in 1984. And while rooted with the Cratchit family, Scrooge, and the iconic spirits that visit him, Dickens's Village has evolved to tell that tale of Christmas in Victorian London and at the turn of the century.
