These Italian rice balls are made with Arborio rice that is simmered and enriched with fresh basil, imported mozzarella and imported provolone, then formed into balls and breaded then lightly fried. They are handmade batches from an old recipe handed down from Frankie Avalon’s mom and her mom from Sicily. They can be served as a side dish or eaten as they are with your choice of favorite sauce to go with it. Now you can prepare this wonderful dish at home in minutes. Shipped frozen, the rice balls are ready to heat and eat – pick a flavor (or get both) and enjoy!

Preparation Instructions: Thaw desired amount completely. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and place on nonstick pan and bake for 8-10 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.

Comes packaged in an insulated Styrofoam cooler with dry ice and will arrive to customer two days after shipping. May arrive with little to no dry ice remaining, which is normal. Although there may be no dry ice remaining, the food should arrive cold to the touch which indicates it has maintained its freshness.

Do not touch dry ice without gloves. You may leave it in the cooler outside and it will evaporate harmlessly within 24 hours. Do not put in drinks. Do not eat. Do not touch to skin, mouth or eyes. Do not put into air-tight containers. Keep out of reach of children.
