Ali Carr was working as a counselor and live emcee for National America Miss pageants when she was "discovered" by a fellow ShopHQ host. Ali had always dreamed of a career in television, and with this friendly encouragement she "took the leap of faith" and auditioned. Prior to being hired as a Host in 2013, Ali was an on-air fashion expert and guest. There's more to Ali than pageants and studio lights though, in 2008 she traded in her high heels, and laced on her hiking boots to climb Mount Kilimanjaro as a fundraiser for AIDS education in Tanzania, Africa. "The love of the people and vibrancy of the culture will stay with me forever - I can't wait to go back!" Ali is also a self professed foodie and when away from the camera she and her husband enjoy discovering new restaurants.
"I make a legendary Crawfish Etoufee pie. I incorporate my grandmother's tried and true recipe, my Uncle Tony's famous seasoning, and add a bit of my own personal flare. Now, if only I could find fresh crawfish in Minnesota!"
As the VP of Marketing and Product Development for one of the country's largest chocolate companies, Allison Waggoner first met at-home shoppers as an on-air guest introducing her line of confections. She quickly became a host, and 15 years later her favorite part of the job is connecting with viewers. Allison is passionate about many products and enjoys bringing you everything from beauty items to watches and electronics. Her Accredited Jewelry Professional Certification makes her uniquely qualified to present the latest jewelry designs, and she is a classically trained chef. In her free time, Allison serves on the Board of Directors for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation.

Hosting with ShopHQ is the perfect marriage of Brian Kessler's background in advertising, entertainment and fashion. Brian studied comedy at Chicago's Second City and learned about fashion at Otis College of Art and Design, and has worked for clients that include JCPenney and Hallmark Cards. Brian most enjoys presenting the things he loves best: home and fitness products, fashion and electronics. Away from the camera, Brian spends time with family, his triathlon training buddies, his pup Molly, and working on a new home that needs lots of TLC.

Connie Kunkle has hosted television shows about home decorating, cooking and finance in addition to hosting talk shows. She became an at-home shopping host in 1996, and in 2004 joined ShopHQ, where she became the go-to woman for everything from jewelry and fashion to beauty and home décor. Connie loves connecting with viewers and talking about products with them.
When not behind the camera, Connie can often be found on stage singing. She has performed around the world, including Carnegie Hall and the Royal Albert Hall in London. With unending energy and a zest for life, Connie enjoys golfing, knitting and adventure travel–and she loves sharing her stories on air with viewers.

Chef and author Daniel Green has designed menus for the international Shangri-La, Mandarin Oriental hotels and KLM Airlines. As an on-air celebrity, his cooking and travel shows have aired throughout the UK.
Daniel brings ShopHQ viewers his passion for high-quality, high-value watches and products for the home and kitchen. It's not a surprise to viewers when Daniel offers his knowledge and insights on style related to our handbags and jewelry as well.
At home, Daniel devotes his time to his wife and their children, and still talks to his mum in England almost daily.
"I never feel as if I am at work. The connection we have with all our viewers is brilliant, and I feel very lucky to be able to be a spokesperson for the company."
Heather Hall came to ShopHQ from the world of modeling, but she never craved the spotlight. Shy by nature, as a child she was enrolled in acting classes to help bring her out of her shell and make new friends. As a host with ShopHQ, now Heather makes new friends every day! She loves presenting high–quality items to our customers–especially beauty products and jewelry–and encouraging women to feel beautiful from the inside out.
Heather's proudest achievement and most rewarding job is being a mother to her three children.

Kathy Norton was on air with ShopHQ as a product guest for eight years before becoming a host in early 2013. Prior to that, she worked in the beauty biz and the art world. She ran a catering and party planning company with her grandmother - her hero - who worked until she was over 90 years old, and lived to be over 100! With a background in interior design, Kathy enjoys helping shoppers especially with home décor, as well as beauty products.
In her down time, Kathy is just one of the "guys," watching hockey with her two brothers, and traveling and volunteering with her husband and two boys.
"I'm still the ultimate hostess at heart. I love chatting with our customers when they call in!"
Kendy Kloepfer is a career home-shopping host and has been a member of our on-air team since 1995. After studying theater in college, she auditioned for America's Shopping Place–and the rest is history. Kendy loves ShopHQ's boutique feel with home-grown designers and unique brands.
At home, it's all about the kids. Every day Kendy is at the pool, rink or field, cheering on her two children who are both competitive athletes. A Girl Scout for more than 40 years, Kendy enjoys outdoor adventures in Minnesota and around the world.
"Fun fact: My first home-shopping gig was with Dan Wheeler and Jane Lynch of Glee!"
Since she joined ShopHQ in 2004, Kimberly Wells has presented everything from fashion favorites to dinnerware to home electronics. And she loves it all—for Kimberly, coming to work knowing each day will be different from the one before is the best part of the job. She thrives on variety.
This lifelong entertainer has performed on Broadway, Disney cruise ships and across the country in more than 45 musicals. Kimberly also hikes, bikes and runs trails all over the world, from Mt. Kilimanjaro to the base of Mt. Everest.
"Little-known fact: I never answer my phone! Maybe it's because I talk for a living, but in my downtime, this energizer bunny loves to get off the grid."
Kristine Kvanli entered the world of ShopHQ hosting from backstage. She first worked as a visual stylist, helping to execute live shows behind the camera, before becoming an on air host in 2007. On either side of the camera, her favorite things about ShopHQ are working with knowledgeable guests and presenting fashion and home décor.
Kristine has also worked as an actress, performing and teaching improv comedy and interactive theater in the Twin Cities. She enjoys reading autobiographies, shopping (of course!), dancing, fishing and being silly.

Lynne Schacher loves coming to work every day. She loves the energy of the studio and working with her awesome crew. But most of all she enjoys spending time with her viewers! After 15 years, Lynne has learned her viewers are more than just customers, they are her friends and she loves sharing information with them to enrich and enhance their lives. Prior to joining ShopHQ, Lynne was a dancer, actress and Miss Minnesota. Her passion in life is her family—her "Prince Charming" husband, two kids and two dogs. Lynne also loves attending live music and theater events, and traveling.

On the job, Melissa Miner combines her experience as a certified Graduate Gemologist, gift of gab and passion for shopping. Knowing the jewelry ShopHQ presents is of the best quality in the industry, Melissa feels confident bringing it to viewers. She's equally proud to present items from all the other categories.
Away from the camera, Melissa crochets (she's made more than 100 baby blankets) and spends quality time with her husband and their two sons.

Sarah Anderson loves connecting on Facebook—especially if you're into fashion, beauty and jewelry! Hosting is a dream job for this shopping addict. After traveling the world with Broadway musicals and performing with the Radio City Rockettes for 12 years, Sarah was happy to settle down at ShopHQ in 2005.
Sarah lives with four bird feeders, three dogs, two yoga mats and one husband. She's a terrible cook, just ask her husband. She loves the Red Sox and eats chocolate daily.
"I love the people and the live broadcasts, but I really enjoy meeting viewers off the air, whether at the grocery store or online. (Hope you like dog photos!)"
Skip Connelly presents all kinds of products, including ShopHQ's watches and collectible coins, with the enthusiasm and knowledge of a collector and the flair of a showman. Before becoming a home shopping host in 1983, Skip was a cruise ship singer and choreographer. Since joining ShopHQ in 1993, he has enjoyed researching the items he presents, especially collectible coins.
Skip spends as much time as possible with his wife and their two boys, Bosley the Shar Pei and Boomer the Mastiff.
"Coin collecting is a fascinating hobby, I enjoy learning the history of the coins we offer."
Tami Lynn's road to ShopHQ began more than 10 years ago when she was up during the night with her first baby. She would watch ShopHQ and say, "Someday, I'm going to be that lady!" In 2011, that someday became a reality. Tami loves presenting—and shopping—for every product category.
Before hosting, Tami was a dancer and coach with the Minnesota Vikings cheerleaders. She was Mrs. Minnesota America 2003 and Mrs. Minnesota International 2009. A true sports enthusiast with tremendous energy, Tami remains involved with the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders, in addition to her on-air hosting and being a mother of four.

Always fascinated by what drives people, Tiffany Jones has long been a motivational speaker with her own business, For Wellness Sake, developing presentations for schools and corporate sales teams. As a result, stepping in front of the camera to help people shop came naturally to her. What motivates Tiffany about the job is connecting with all of America in a way that helps them get exactly what they want and need–especially skincare and cosmetics, or what she calls "the potions."
Off camera, Tiffany enjoys everything outdoors and isn't shy about exploring adventures during every season in Minnesota, whether it's sunny or snowing, she keeps moving.
"It's such a treat to get my hair done by our stylist before the shows, but off the set I prefer to be comfy and take the makeup off. I'm very down to earth."
Having been in the home shopping industry since 1985, Tim Temple is one of the many veterans of the business. He joined ShopHQ in 2009 as an on air host, and enjoys showing customers the value and quality of the products we feature. Tim has a particular passion for introducing viewers to our selection of watches due to his own personal interest and history—he was involved in the development of wristwatches as a major TV shopping category. When not on air, you might find Tim in the recording studio—he specializes in mixing music and works as a composer, arranger and keyboardist. An avid photographer, Tim travels the world in pursuit of his next photography subject.
"I'm working on a project to take photographs on every continent. There's still one to go, and it's not Antarctica."
After managing a multifaceted career as a performer and sales representative in New York and Los Angeles, Wendi Russo decided to merge her talents on television. When a producer encouraged her to consider hosting, she tried a few "Where to Dine and Shop" segments for a Los Angeles station and quickly found her niche. And talk about serendipity: in 2004 she got the offer to host at ShopHQ on the same say as her wedding! Wendi loves to present fashion and beauty. And even though her Italian husband does most of the cooking at home, she loves to host food shows because she gets to eat the results. In her spare time Wendi works as a mentor and volunteer with Big Brothers, Kinship and Make-A-Wish.
