CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Hand washing recommended.
  • Wipe the outside of the Torpedo with a soft, damp cloth.
  • For cleaning the inside of the canister fill 2/3 full with hot water and add a few drops of dishwashing liquid. Turn the machine "On" for 30 seconds and allow the Torpedo to self-clean with soap foaming up and around the inside. Rinse the soap from the canister thoroughly with clear, hot water.
  • Use the soft brush provided to clean around the blades, the filter hole, and the mesh screens and separate each piece before cleaning.
  • Allow all parts to dry thoroughly before re-assembly.
  • Clean container immediately after use to prevent caked on food.
  • Do not store unused food in the Torpedo canister. Doing so may damage the blades.

Firenza Tapenade
Ingredients

  • 10 fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup Italian Parsley
  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 15 cherry tomatoes (cut in half)
  • 1 pound kalamata olives, pitted
  • 1/2 pound green olives, pitted
  • 1/4 cup pimentos
  • 3 anchovy fillets
  • 1 cup capers
  • 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • Directions
    Place all ingredients in the Torpedo and lock lid into place. Pulse several times until the mixture is coarsely chopped.

    Baby’s Peas
    Ingredients

  • 2 cups peas, steamed
  • 3 Tbsp water, hot
  • Directions
    Add all ingredients to the Torpedo and lock lid into place. PULSE until smooth.

    Baby’s Carrots
    Ingredients

  • 1 cup carrots, steamed
  • 1/4 cup water, hot
  • Directions
    Add all ingredients to the Torpedo and lock lid into place. PULSE until smooth.

    Killer Guacamole
    Ingredients

  • 4 avocados, pitted and peeled
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, loosely packed
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 jalapeno or Serrano pepper, optional
  • Directions
    Place all ingredients in the Torpedo and lock lid into place. Press PULSE 2-3 times until mixture is chopped. Serve immediately or chill for up to 2 hours.

    Tuscan Tomato Soup
    Ingredients

  • 2 28oz cans whole tomatoes
  • 2 cups low sodium chicken broth, hot
  • 1/2 cup basil leaves, loosely packed
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Rick Blue Cheese Dressing
    Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup blue cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 1 tsp Tabasco sauce (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Directions
    Place all ingredients in the Torpedo and lock lid into place. Press PULSE several times until the mixture is very smooth. Serve immediately, or cover and chill for up to 2 days.

    Creamy Alfredo Sauce
    Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups whole milk, hot
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 4oz.Parmesan cheese, pre-grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1/4 cup loosely-packed basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Directions
    Place all ingredients in the Torpedo and lock lid into place. Press PULSE several times until the mixture is nearly smooth. Toss with hot pasta and serve immediately.

    Marinara Sauce
    Ingredients

  • 1 cup olive oil, warmed
  • 5 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 2 pounds red and yellow cherry tomatoes
  • 10 fresh basil leaves
  • Directions
    Combine all ingredients in the Torpedo and lock lid into place. Pulse several times until the mixture is roughly chopped. Add salt and pepper to taste. You can also turn this out into a saucepan and heat it further, if desired.

    Frozen Margarita
    Ingredients

  • 5 fluid ounces tequila
  • 3 fluid ounces triple sec
  • 2 (6oz) cans frozen limeade concentrate
  • 4 cups ice cubes
  • Coarse salt
  • Directions
    Combine tequila, triple sec and limeade concentrate in the Torpedo. Fill the blender with ice cubes. Press ON and blend until smooth. Salt the rims of 2 large margarita glasses. To do so, pour salt onto a small plate, moisten the rims of the glasses on a damp towel and press them into the salt. Pour the margaritas into glasses, garnish with slice of lime and serve.

    Simple Berry Smoothie
    Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 2 cups ice
  • Directions
    Place all ingredients into the Torpedo and lock lid into place. Press AUTO. When the machine stops blending, dispense into glasses and serve.

    Pineapple Passion Juice
    Ingredients

  • 2 spears fresh pineapple
  • 1 whole apple
  • 1 cup grapes (with seeds)
  • 3 cups ice
  • Directions
    Insert the Medium Mesh screen and place a glass under the beverage dispenser. Place all ingredients into the Torpedo and lock the lid into place. Press ON. After about 10 seconds, open the dispenser to fill the glass.

    Blueberry Frozen Yogurt
    Ingredients

  • 2-1/2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1-3/4 cups plain or blueberry yogurt
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • Directions
    Place all the ingredients in the Torpedo and lock the lid into place. Press ON and allow to blend for 10 seconds or until well mixed. Scoop into serving dishes and garnish with fresh berries.
