Made from metal and plastic, each cattail light measures 31"H x 5-1/2"W. Height is from stake bottom to cattail top. Width is the distance on one individual cattail from the end of one leaf to the opposite leaf. This set uses a 2V 60mA solar panel with a rechargeable Ni-MH battery (preinstalled). Low level of assembly is required (approximately 10 minutes). For outdoor use.
A type of wetland flower, cattails are known by many names - including bulrush, reedmace and corndog grass. The last name is particularly appropriate since there is evidence that the stems were eaten over 30,000 years ago. The downy material of the disintegrating heads has also been used to line moccasins and fill life vets. Found throughout the world, they are most prevalent in the Northern Hemisphere. Add this pretty flower to your own yard with these brilliant solar lights!
Please Note: This item is solar powered and requires direct sunlight to charge. The light will not activate until it is dark outside after it has been charged by the sun.
