Hubert Herr Moving Owls Handmade Wood Black Forest Cuckoo Clock
Old-world craftsmanship adds artful style to your home. Handcrafted for premium style, the two-tone wooden cuckoo clock features intricate details at every angle. The addition of movement adds lighthearted style to your home. Made in Germany.
Created with a traditional 1-day mechanical movement of brass and steel, at half and full hours, the cuckoo above the dial chirps. When this happens, each owl at the side of the dial moves. Created with a wooden dial and carved wooden cuckoo bird, the clock is air brushed for colorful style. Featuring a rich walnut color with a wax finish, the design is finished with carved grape leaves and a bird at the top. Completed with a night shut-off system for silence when you're sleeping.
Measures 6.5"L x 9"W x 12.5"H. Weighs 3.52 pounds. Made of wood/base metal/plastic. Minimal assembly required, about 5 minutes. 90 day limited vendor service warranty.
About Cuckoo Clock Mechanical Movements:
Cuckoo clocks are generally available in two different mechanical movements. An 8-day movement will need to be wound about once a week. A 1-day movement will need to be wound around every 30 hours. To ensure the movement runs its full course, make sure you hang the clock high enough so the weights extend to their full length - usually about 6-1/2 feet high.
